Who we are
We are the only cooperative currently providing affordable housing in the area. Currently, we have 32 townhome units that are a mix of 2 & 3 Bedroom units. We are a proud member of the co-op housing federation of Canada, CHF.
Current Developement
We are currently in the process of developing a 6 floor, waterfront building that will provide an additional 97 affordable housing units. Our units are a planned mix of 1,2, and 3 bedroom units. Additionally, we plan to build 88 townhome units that will provide families with 2,3, and 4 bedroom options. Our vision focuses on 3 pillars: Affordability, Accessibility, and Energy Efficiency. If we had a four pillar it would be to provide the community with a truly affordable, magnificent, waterfront property that is democratically controlled and the largest housing cooperative in Grey Bruce. We are committed to providing a clean, safe, affordable, state-of-the-art complex that will be a model for future generations. We believe our vision and track record demonstrates that we are the best opportunity to add much needed affordable housing for the community.
